Our basic philosophy: "Doing the Right Thing is source of strength". 

     As a year passes, 7 billion people on earth get a year older. This means that the world gets 7 billion years older every year. Thus, companies likely become obsolete without devoting themselves to diligent study to cope with the 7-billion-change.   

     Tsukioka has always responded to the changes timely by expanding its business to other industries started with hot stamping for printing, edible pure gold leaf products for food, edible film incorporated into food, cosmetics and quasi drugs, and pharmaceutical films.

     In April 2012, we established an unprecedented high-speed mass production technology of nano-films with the thickness of 0.0001 mm through collaboration with a prominent professor. 

     In our hot stamping business, started in 1966, we always introduce the latest machinery and equipment from the world. We were the first in the industry to obtain ISO9001 certification to ensure the highest quality control for every single letter and sheet for the delivery of most reliable products.  

     By exploiting the highest quality control and proprietary technology of hot stamping which we have accumulated, our patented edible gold and silver leaf products are successfully marketed.  

     Our spirit experienced many sufferings in the course of development has enabled the in-house manufacturing of edible films through the initiative of our senior managing director.

     Launching on the new industry of edible films, we built a new plant installed with coating machines for mouth freshener films since we projected a large market for the product ahead. We see that the market is not growing in Japan as fast as we expected.  We study carefully about how we should utilize the vast production capacity of the plant in which a large scale investment was made and we predict the future of pharmaceutical films which dissolve in the mouth in a few seconds.

     We took the opportunity when the professor at Gifu Pharmaceutical University offered us a joint research project on pharmaceutical film applications. That is how we started our venture into the pharmaceutical film business, and we face a formidable challenge and it requires profound knowledge in pharmacy. With the instruction and guidance offered by many academics and industrial pharmacists involved, we could successfully establish the manufacturing process for the new film dosage. 

     Finally this year, with the assistance and guidance extended from Japan Finance Corporation and Gifu Shinkin Bank, we could complete a state-of-the-art plant dedicated to pharmaceutical film manufacturing in Techno Plaza, a space provided by the Gifu Prefectural Government, and changed our company name to Tsukioka Film Pharma Co., Ltd to accommodate the new challenge. We will soon obtain FDA and KFDA c-GMP certificates and expand our OEM manufacturing of pharmaceutical films in anticipation of strong business with local and global pharmaceutical companies.

     Especially, with the world’s first mass production technology of nano-films, we anticipate the technology will be applied to pharmaceuticals, medical devices, healthcare products, semiconductors, solar power generation and other unexplored fields.

     Tsukioka has reached a new stage, thanks to many people’s valuable advice and assistance. We would like to express our sincerest gratitude to all of you and we greatly appreciate your continued support and encouragement in the years to come.
